Little Cubs, Safari Adventure, and Junior Leader tracks so 4-year-olds aren't racing 11-year-olds. Every kid finds peers who play at their pace.

A new theme every week.

Kitchen Chemistry, Top Secret Adventure, Coolest Camp Ever, Safari Warriors, Sports Extravaganza. Games, crafts, and activities never repeat, so kids can come three weeks in a row and never do the same day twice.

Structured chaos (the good kind).

Active play, guided games, crafts, snack breaks, free play. A rhythm that keeps kids energized, not overstimulated. By pickup they're happy-tired.

Safari Dollars, real rewards.

Counselors hand out Safari Dollars all week for teamwork, kindness, and effort. Friday ends with a celebration where kids cash them in for prizes they pick themselves.

Daily snacks, supplies, a camp t-shirt, Safari Dollars, and rewards all in the price. Just pack a lunch.

20 years of camps means some parents bringing their kids came here as kids themselves. Word of mouth is why we don't advertise it.

Counselors are high school or college students who have a passion for working with children, and most of them already work with us through the year as party hosts or on the management team. They know the building, they know our families, and camp is not their first week on the job. Every counselor is trained in how to care for and protect the children in their group, including how to recognize a concern and who to raise it with. Our management team is Red Cross CPR, First Aid and AED certified, and completes mandated reporter and harassment prevention training every year. Counselors work in teams under their supervision to create an exciting, safe, and fun learning environment.

We hear comments all the time about how clean Safari Run is; this is something we take great pride in. All pads in and around the Play Structure along with the floor are cleaned with a disinfectant daily. Our staff regularly wipes down equipment, tables, chairs, and anything the campers come in contact with throughout the day. We have children wash hands before and after they play.
No. We do not provide any products that contain peanuts or have been made in the same factory as peanut products. Since campers bring their own lunch, we strongly urge parents to not pack lunches that contain peanut butter or other nut products, for the safety of all campers.
We try to maintain a safe, fun environment for everyone including campers and staff without having to remove any campers from the activity. However, if the child is asked to stop their behavior, and does not, they will be issued a time-out appropriate for their age. If the behavior continues, we will remove the camper from the rest of the children, and in extreme cases, we will ask that the parent removes their child from our camp altogether. Any altercations, whether they are verbal or physical, will absolutely not be tolerated at Safari Run.
We ask that your child is potty trained so we avoid potty accidents, but if one does happen we will help your child change into their extra clothes that you have packed for them in their backpack. Due to child safety laws and our own policies, two staff members (at least one of the same gender as the child) accompany the child if he or she needs to go to the bathroom or change clothes. If the accident is an injury we have First Aid kits and ice bags, and will apply as needed. We will determine if parents/guardians need to be contacted, but nonetheless the parent/guardian will always be notified when the child is picked up at the end of the day. As an extra safety precaution, our managers and supervisors are Red Cross Adult & Child CPR/First Aid certified.
We have the token and arcade system to encourage positive behavior and to have a big end of the week activity that all campers get the chance to enjoy.
Yes. Our staff member will help you sign out your child. We will check for a valid photo ID to maintain the safety of our campers.
